Lorraine Ben
Chief Executive, Lockheed Martin Canada

Lorraine Ben was appointed Chief Executive for Lockheed Martin Canada in June 2019. Lorraine rejoined Lockheed Martin Canada in August 2015 as Director of Business Development and Strategy as part of the Lockheed Martin International team. In this role, she was responsible for the development and execution of strategies to grow the business and strengthen customer relationships.

Under her leadership, Lockheed Martin Canada is responsible for delivering on country-specific strategies, maintaining and strengthening strategic customer and partner relationships. As the corporation's in-country lead, Lorraine facilitates access to Lockheed Martin’s broad portfolio of products and technologies to help Canada address its security and defence challenges.

Prior to joining Lockheed Martin Canada in 2015, she served in a variety of Business Development Executive roles with Lockheed Martin in Owego New York, TELUS, Accenture and IBM.

Lorraine graduated from Laurentian University with a bachelor’s degree in English/Law.


Gary Fudge
General Manager, Lockheed Martin Canada Rotary & Missions Systems (RMS)

Gary Fudge was appointed General Manager at Lockheed Martin Canada Rotary and Mission Systems in 2017. Gary leads an organization of more than 600 employees located across Canada and has a total program portfolio valued well above $1.5B (CAD). The company’s main focus is the development and integration of sophisticated defence programs in both the Canadian and International markets.

Gary’s business Lockheed Martin Canada profile, which spans more than 25 years in the management of large, sophisticated engineering programs, includes: Lockheed Martin Canada RMS Program Director for the HCM project where he was responsible for the management of the upgrade of the Royal Canadian Navy’s fleet of 12 frigates and the associated In-Service Support project. This HCM project included the development of the Combat Management System (CMS 330) and oversight of several multi-disciplinary product teams, international subcontractors and Canadian shipyards on two coasts.

Prior to the HCM project, Gary was a member of the Program Management Office and Director of Software Development for the Canadian Patrol Frigate project. From 1994 to 1998, he started up Lockheed Martin Canada’s In-Service Support unit for the Halifax Class as the Program Manager of the ISES project in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He also held the Program Manager Director roles for ACR, DSCAN and SpotSar. On the strategic planning of Naval business, he was instrumental in successfully guiding Lockheed Martin Canada’s efforts on the following projects: Quest Upgrade, Operations Room Team Trainer, Maintenance Procedures Trainer and Combat System Engineering Support.

Gary, a graduate of the Computer Science program at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, is also the proud recipient of several performance awards throughout his career with Lockheed Martin Canada.

Gary, who enjoys hiking, resides in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with his wife Christine. 


Steve Fortson
Senior Program Manager & General Manager of Lockheed Martin Procerus Technologies and CDL Systems, a Lockheed Martin Canada Company

Steven (Steve) Fortson is responsible for leading all aspects of the RMS Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) portfolio.

Previously, Steve was Business Development Manager for Lockheed Martin Corporation’s Rotary and Mission Systems UAS portfolio. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of small UAS business growth through strategic analysis, customer engagement, solution development, program planning, capability demonstration and capture.

Throughout his career, Steve has led several critical initiatives for Lockheed Martin, including the UK Maritime Integrated Defensive Aids Suite capture, the U.S. Army Small UAS IDIQ capture, the Maritime Canister Launched Small UAS capture, and the US Air Force Advanced Power Technology Office initiative, “Energy Innovation is Small Unmanned Air Systems for Cost Effective Sustained Military Advantage.”

Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Steve served as a noncommissioned officer within the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Branch. Operational assignments included service within Aerial Exploitation Battalions worldwide.  He retired from the U.S. Army Reserves in 2019 following a 35-year total service affiliation. 

Steve graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a Master of Science in Technology Management.  He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management from the University of Phoenix. He is a qualified Lockheed Martin Program Manager and Capture Manager, and a member of the Association of the United States Army, Army Aviation Association of America, Association of Old Crows, and Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International.


Jim Andrews
General Manager, Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Solutions

Jim Andrews is General Manager of Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Solutions Montreal, an engine MRO and test complex for the CFM and CF34 variants, and is responsible for all aspects of the facility’s overall performance.

During the seven years prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Jim held positions of increasing responsibility with Aveos/Air Canada Technical Services (ACTS) including Operations, Business Development and Strategies. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager of Engine Solutions Business. In that role, Jim successfully diversified the business portfolio by growing competitive engine repair and overhaul services to a global customer base.

For 12 years preceding ACTS/ Aveos, Jim was part of the senior leadership team at Rolls-Royce Canada, holding positions in Customer Business, Operations and Engineering.

Jim graduated from the Royal Military College of Canada with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
